Are you and your family dealing with a difficult issue? Therapy can help you deal with difficult feelings, problems with relationships, and/or problems within your family. Starting therapy can feel scary but often it can make a world of a difference in your life as well as personal relationships. I have worked with children and families for over 15 years in the school system as well as in individual therapy. I have helped many dealing with anxiety, depression, problems with friends, school stress, the loss of a loved one, and divorce. I’ve worked with many teens dealing with very difficult issues such as cutting, date rape, sexual abuse, bullying, and suicidal tendencies. I want to stress the fact that there is hope and there is help. You do not need to continue suffering alone. Therapy can help! You can regain your life and learn life long coping skills to deal effectively with whatever life throws at you.
Therapy is a place where you can talk about your problems in a confidential atmosphere. In therapy what you share stays between you and me*. During the process of therapy, we can work together to help you figure out what to do about your problems and help improve your relationship with your parents so they are more helpful. Just remember, you’re not alone and help is out there.
